We demonstrated polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) using the dip coating method on a flat glass and flat polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates as well as on a cylinder-shaped fiber substrate. This result enables the production of low-cost, easily fabricated flexible fiber-based PLEDs by roll-to-roll manufacturing as well as the realization of a true fiber-based wearable display.
